Hypnosis is essentially a particular state of mind that is usually induced in one person by another.  In such states of mind, suggestions are not only more readily accepted than in the waking state, but are also acted upon much more powerfully than would be possible under natural conditions.  In hypnosis suggestions are put to the unconscious mind, which bypass the conscious mind, are more readily accepted and thus acted upon without criticism.

The ability to utilise this positive therapy for weight loss is well recognised and established, demonstrating the power of suggestive thinking on the ability to change behaviour. Hypnotherapy can be conducted in group or individual sessions and its ability to relax the mind can help to restore the body's internal equilibrium.
